Have you seen the new YouTube video for Avengers: Doomsday? The trailer features a fearsome and seemingly invincible Doctor Doom. The arrogant leaders of the Council of Kangs assumed they could easily kill Doom – WRONG! They should have CAPITULATED or surrendered before it was too late. Instead, they chose to fight. But their resistance was futile. Check out the scene and you will see Doctor Doom’s immense power as he annihilates the entire Council of Kangs!

SAT test writers have probably not watched this video. But they are aware of the word CAPITULATE. Test takers on Reddit report seeing CAPITULATE on the May 2026 SAT. Unfortunately, we don’t know if it was a correct or an incorrect answer. But we do know that Mr. Krieger’s students and Substack subscribers will never CAPITULATE to the SAT vocabulary in context questions. Unlike the Council of Kangs, we will PREVAIL!!
